We are a friendly group of people who enjoy getting together socially and to play petanque.  We are of all ages and gender and love being outside and competing on all levels.

We meet throughout the year on Tuesday and Sunday afternoons from 12 noon until 3pm, weather permitting.

You are welcome to come down and join us for a game, whether you have played before or are new to the game.  We have all the equipment you need to enable you to have a go. We will be more than willing to show you how to play.

New members, Trisha, Steve and Nick all agree that it is a friendly Club. They’ve been given a lot of help and have been encouraged by all. Steve was initially dragged along by his wife, but says that he wouldn’t keep coming if he didn’t enjoy himself.

Throughout the summer, we play a number of in-house competitions. The first one is the Pam and Dave Saunders Shield. This is a melee and pairs will be drawn out of a hat. There’ll be four games of 45 minutes but individuals can opt to play less. This will take place on Tuesday, the 23rd of April 2024, starts at 10 am registration at 9:45. There is a £2 entry fee.
